I’m Cole!

I’m a San Diego-based product designer, visual designer, illustrator, and I do a few other things as well. I am currently working as a Senior Visual Designer at Killer Visual Strategies, a Material+ company. I have an ongoing passion to learn, create, and explore. I love being creative and I love what I do.

At 2 years old my family moved to Shanghai and spent the next 9 years living in China, and traveling the world. While most kids were going to Disneyland for spring break, we were seeing the ruins of Pompeii, climbing up the steep steps of Angkor Wat, and flagging down tuk tuks in Bangkok. Growing up with this worldly view gave me an understanding of the importance of considering other countries, cultures, and a variety of people when creating any sort of design. I believe this diverse understanding is immensely important when it comes to design. I’ve brought this thinking while working with clients from across the globe.
